Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, trucks, etc.)

• Perform routine maintenance and preventive service on equipment

• Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential failures

• Perform welding and fabrication for equipment repair (buckets, attachments, structural components, etc.)

• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other major components

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards

• Respond to field service calls as needed

• Keep shop and work areas clean and organized

 

Skills

• Experience with CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, or similar equipment

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and recordkeeping

• Fabrication experience is a strong plus

• $35.00 - $41.00/hour

• Full time 40 – 50/week
